The WhoIs data of this pharmacy says the domain was registered on 17th February 2018 and currently has an expiry date of 17th February 2021. The domain has a longer lifespan than regular rogue pharmacies, so we can’t call it a scam straight away. However, there is not much information available on the owner of this domain and the pharmacy is currently running on a shared server along with 162 other websites, which makes the pharmacy suspicious.
The ScamAdviser data says the owner of this pharmacy is Privacy Hero Inc, a common name that can be found on several rogue pharmacies. The address given is fake as they are not located in that address. Additionally, the data also says there are two countries involved in its set up – the United States, and the Turks and Caicos Islands is another reason for suspicion. All their contact details such as telephone, email address, and social media pages did offer any response to our queries.
Till now we found enough evidence to call it a scam, but we needed to check their regulatory approvals to be completely sure about it. The pharmacy has not provided any details regarding their legal existence, so we head over to CIPA, MPA, and Pharmacy Checker websites to check whether they are registered with any of the concerned authorities and unsurprisingly, there were no signs of this business in any of their databases. Moreover, LegitScript has reviewed the pharmacy and classified it as a rogue one meaning they sell low-quality products which might be harmful to human health.
The pharmacy primarily sells men’s reproduction health medicines, however, to avoid legal scrutiny they also offer other health products. Some of their products include:
❋ Allergy, Asthma, Antibiotics, Anti Fungal
❋ Blood Disorder, Cholesterol, Diabetes
❋ Eye Care, Hair Loss, Gastro Problems
❋ Weight Loss and other products
The prices of their best-selling products are surprisingly reasonable and do not resemble their rogue counterparts. You can easily find these drugs at these prices at regular drugstores. They also mentioned they can source their products from anywhere in the world depending on availability making the drugstore even more curious. It is hard to determine whether they sell duplicated items or not as there is not much info available regarding their source.
The pharmacy accepts PayPal payments along with credit cards issued by Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX. The involvement of PayPal is quite surprising as we know PayPal chooses who they will work with after a thorough background checking. Assuming they have done that, this makes the pharmacy and their operation really interesting. There is no SSL seal at payment getaway either where the pharmacy will send you during checkout.
Unfortunately, the pharmacy did not disclose their shipping methods and the estimated time to deliver the package. However, they claim their shipping costs are $25. They also claim to offer free shipping on orders over $249. Usually, a good and reputed online pharmacy will offer all the necessary information on their Home or FAQ page for their customers to easily comprehend.
The pharmacy has its customer testimonial page where you can read about the experiences of their past customers. Unfortunately, all these StrapCart.com reviews look fake and generated by the owner itself. All these reviews are 5-stars only and full of praise, we also saw some of these reviews in several other rogue pharmacies we investigated before.
During our entire investigation, we remained skeptical about whether to call it a scam or a legit business. Although we found mostly negative things during our investigation such as vague owner, no legal and SSL approvals, fake testimonials, etc there are few things that made us think twice. The prices of their products, which are unlike most rogue pharmacies and the involvement of PayPal who only chooses their clients only after thorough background verification. Our advice will be if you choose to buy medications from this store, then proceed with caution.
