According to SimplyWhoIs data, this domain was initially registered on 21st April 2017, was later updated on 21st June 2019 and currently has an expiry date of 21st April 2020. Most online scams and fraudulent businesses, in general, don’t last more than a couple of years and since the domain has a very short lifespan, it is quite evident that it is just another scam in the making.
We were also unable to determine the exact business name of this online drugstore. According to ScamAdviser, the pharmacy goes by the hidden business name. Besides, our research finds that this name is not registered under any authorized licensing authority. The ScamAdviser data also tells that the owner of this pharmacy chose to remain anonymous and hide behind the pseudo name of Domain Admin. We also found that the owner of this pharmacy is located in Burlington in the USA, but the pharmacy is hosted from Frankfurt.
Regulatory approvals are necessary for any pharmacy to operate legally. It must be authorized and obtain all the legal approvals from various regulatory agencies like CIPA, NABP, Pharmacy Checker, LegitScript, etc. Even though the pharmacy includes seals from several regulatory organizations, all these seals are fake further strengthening their case of not being a legit business. We found that this pharmacy is not registered under CIPA or has been approved by any other agency. The drugstore has been termed as rogue by LegitScript meaning their products and medicines are not safe to use.
Almost all of their best-selling products are generic men’s health drugs, which they claim to be FDA approved. However, they also sell various other common drugs to look legit and attract buyers. Some of the products include:
❋ Asthma Medicines
❋ Birth Control Pills
❋ Heart Disease medicines
❋ Muscle Relaxants
All these products can be availed without prescription and their quality can be compromised as these items are sourced from poor third world countries with a rich history of counterfeiting.
The pharmacy is currently selling products almost 70% off than their actual prices. This is a common trend among such rogue online pharmacy stores. The main reason for this massive price drop could be due to the counterfeiting of original products or may be due to cross border trafficking. Another interesting thing we found about this pharmacy is they are offering men’s health drugs for free with every order.
They accept payments from a credit card issued by Visa, also AmEx and E-check. However, during our investigation, we found that various users were charged but they did not receive any products. It is also possible that they could steal your vital credit card information and use that info for fraudulent activities. They also have a GeoTrust and WebSafe Shield seals on their website, but we highly doubt their authenticity and strongly recommend not to disclose any of your sensitive information.
They claim to two shipping methods to deliver their products. They are:
❋ Airmail or US Postal Service for USA customers with the normal 2 to 3 weeks waiting period
❋ EMS Courier Delivery with the waiting period of 3 to 8 business days
They also offer free shipping on orders over $200, but it is highly unlikely that you will get your order.
One of the best ways to build trust with your customers is by having actual customer testimonials. The pharmacy has plenty of customers testimonials on their website, our probe found that all reviews are fake. These fake testimonials are also present at least 20 other online pharmacies that we bumped into during our probe. One such example is Benjamin from Andorra and Samuel from Spain. Their names and testimonials are present at least 10 other online drugstores and can be easily determined as fake.
For any business to succeed online or offline, it first needs to build trust with their customers. But the pharmacy has very low trust rating and can be declared as a risky business. The fact that the pharmacy has no genuine regulatory approval also goes against it and further proof of them being a scam and not a legit business.
