Domain Information
The WhoIs data of the domain says the domain was first created on 18th July 2003 and currently has an expiry date of 18th July 2021. A pharmacy that existed for that long should be reliable and trustworthy. However, the data also shows the domain was purchased by a Chinese company which immediately makes this supposedly US-based pharmacy unreliable.
Business Profile
The ScamAdviser data of this pharmacy says the owner is using a privacy service to hide their identity. This is common among several rogue pharmacies that the owner doesn’t want to disclose their identity and address to the general public. Their contact details are also not working properly and their social media pages mostly gave some automated answers to our queries. The data also shows more than three countries involved in its set up – the United States, China, Bahamas, and one random country that keeps getting changed after a certain duration.
Regulatory Approvals
Regulatory approvals are key for such businesses to operate legally. There are no legal seals on their website which is an indicator of illegal business. To verify it, we checked the databases of concerned authorities such as CIPA, MPA, Pharmacy Checker, etc and found no traces of this pharmacy there. Furthermore, LegitScript reviewed the pharmacy and classified it as a rogue business meaning they sell low-quality products that might be poisonous and harmful for the human body.
Available Products
Just like rogue pharmacies, this pharmacy sells men’s generic health drugs that would improve performance on the bed. However, they also sell a few other health products also, but only to look legit and eyewash legal authorities. Some of their products include:
❋ Allergy, Antibiotics, Asthma, Antifungal
❋ Blood Pressure, Eye Care and others
Product Pricing
Most of their best-selling items are available at a price much lower than their traditional market rate. The only way this price could be possible is by counterfeiting the original items. These products are mostly smuggled from developing countries such as India, Pakistan, etc where these products are manufactured and sold at a lower price. They also claim to require a valid prescription and most of their pills cannot be prescribed without visiting a doctor.
Payment Options
The pharmacy accepts payments via credit cards issued by Visa, Mastercard, and E-Checks. Fortunately, they have a valid security certificate on their website as well as the payment getaway where you will be sent during checkout. They don’t accept Bitcoin or any other payment option as of now.
Delivery Methods
They claim to ship their products worldwide with the help of the following two shipping methods:
❋ Airmail with no tracking and
❋ EMS Delivery Service with tracking available
All orders are processed within 24 hours and will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks. However, your order could get delayed at the Customs, so if you don’t get your order within a stipulated period, be patient and wait for a couple more days for the package to arrive. Shipping costs $25 on orders below $100 and frees above $100. They also offer free generic pills on every order you make.
Customer Testimonials
Even though the pharmacy does not have its own customer testimonial page, there are several MedExpressRx.com reviews available on various other platforms. The pharmacy currently has 3.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot and the reviews available there looked more legit than fake.
Conclusion
During our investigation, we found mixed pieces of evidence about the legitimacy of the pharmacy. On one hand, the website has proper security seals, genuine reviews, and longer domain existence points to a genuine pharmacy. While on the other hand, the owner’s lack of transparency, no legal approval, cheaper than normal generic drugs are common characteristics of rogue pharmacies. Our advice will be to proceed with caution and don’t disclose much of your information on their website to prevent identity theft.
We give this pharmacy a 35% trust level based on our findings.
